Both casts suit the characters. Pick whichever language you prefer.

The English performances keep pulling me out of the scene. Back to the language settings.

• Forza Horizon 6: Japan, but Western Corporate-safe Edition
• Atomic Heart + full DLC review: highly ambitious RPG FPS, but felt like it was made in the early 2010s

A solid English dub. Nobody needs to reach for the language menu.

Played for hours. Could not tell you what a single track sounded like.

• Colony Ship: consequence without curiosity
• I finally played the 'AAAA' Game

The Japanese performances give these characters so much presence. Glad I played with this track.

The music repeats so often I am starting to dislike tracks I originally enjoyed.

• John Carpenter's Toxic Commando Review - A.K.A WWZ 2

That delivery was terrible. Please let the next line be just as bad.

• Jagged Alliance 3 review: Mercenaries, mayhem and too much admin
• Sacred 2 Remaster: Nostalgic without the nostalgia

Every impact, machine and room sounds properly alive.

The soundtrack escaped the game and moved into the daily rotation.

The sound does a fantastic job of making you feel like you are there.

The performances make me want to hear the whole conversation, even when I have already read the subtitles.

Unconvincing delivery that makes even a perfectly ordinary line painful to listen to.

• I finally played the 'AAAA' Game
• Forza Horizon 6: Japan, but Western Corporate-safe Edition

Capable actors, wildly inconsistent performances. Did anyone tell them what they were making?

• Another decade, another Halo: Combat Evolved

Things happen on screen with barely any sound to sell them. Checked the volume. It was fine.

• Revisiting Aliens: Fireteam Elite ahead of the sequel
• Atomic Heart + full DLC review: highly ambitious RPG FPS, but felt like it was made in the early 2010s
