Vahdam Turmeric Spiced Tisane

The first thing you notice is the aroma, it's incredibly strong, I could smell it before I even open the packet! It's a pleasantly zesty and spices smell. From what I could pick out, the pieces are mainly turmeric, green cardamom pods, likely cinnamon, and ginger. That initial strong zesty note might be from a particularly potent ginger, the brightness of the cardamom, or a combination of all the spices working together.

Thankfully, once brewed, that potent smell does dampen down quite a bit in the liquor. The bright golden-yellow tea tastes alright. You still get that little bit of zest that was prominent in the aroma, which is quite refreshing. There are definite spice notes coming through without it being 'spicy', it's a decent mix of flavours without anything that stood out too much.

If I had to choose a spiced/herbal mix from this sampler, this is certainty the most palatable.
