Vinco Phosphatidylserine Supplement

This is another staple supplement that is well-proven to help with long-term brain health and, more immediately, reduce the stress hormone cortisol.

Where I take L-Tyrosine to help with motivation and focus while under stress, Phosphatidylserine (PS) is what I use to cool down and recover from it. It's not a stimulant, there's no immediate "kick." It works in the background to regulate your body's stress response. The effect on mood can be quite noticeable, while the benefits for overall brain health are a long-term investment.

I take mine after dinner. The clinically effective dosage is 300mg (two capsules), but it's flexible. On more relaxed days, taking just one 150mg capsule is a great strategy if you're cost-conscious.

The effects will of course vary from person to person. For me, it didn't necessarily make it easier to fall asleep, but I have definitely noticed I'm less irritable and have a longer fuse, even during stressful periods. It just helps take the edge off.

The pills are small, odourless, easy to swallow, for £18, it's a fair price for a trusted brand quality. 5 stars.
