Higgidy Slow-Cooked Steak Red Wine & Bacon Pie

My Experience

After taking it out of the air fryer, I could immediately smell the rich, stewy sauce. Much like the chicken pie, the pastry is nice and buttery and you can tell it's high quality, as are the rest of the ingredients. The beef was tender with no gristle and easily melted in the mouth, and the mushrooms weren't distracting. I couldn't really taste the bacon though, but otherwise, everything complimented the thick sauce really well.

The problem, as seems to be the theme with this pie range, is the nutrition. It's an expensive and small portion, yet it packs so much fat. While most values are fairly high for the size, the saturated fat is the most concerning part. This small 200g pie contains 10.6g of saturated fat, which is a massive 53% of an adult's recommended daily intake.
