My Experience
I bought these from Tesco on sale to give them a try. Using the air fryer, they cooked quite well and turned out fatty and crispy, just as advertised.
When you bite into one, the biggest surprise is the texture. The ingredients list Sodium Triphosphate, a stabiliser that helps the meat bind and retain moisture. When combined with the natural fat from the chicken skin, you get a really nice, succulent, and juicy bite under the crispy exterior. It's quite good.
The flavour is what you'd expect from frozen wings. There is some spice, but saltiness is the dominant flavour. At 1.7g of salt per 100g, they are definitely salty.
Otherwise, they are your typical UPF frozen wings. Enjoy them occasionally.
