Twinings Blood Orange & Cranberry

This is a predominantly tart fruit infusion. It opens with the deepness of blood orange, backed by a subtle sweetness from pomegranate and liquorice root, before swinging heavily towards the strong tartness of cranberry, hibiscus, and rosehips.

The flavour has an interesting progression. The tartness is not immediately strong while on the tongue for the first five to ten seconds, but it becomes very dominant upon swallowing. This intense, cranberry-forward character can get a bit fatiguing over time. Otherwise, it is a nice fruity infusion for those who prefer a sharp profile.
