Health Embassy Lavender Flower

The aroma upon opening the packet is impressively strong, and the lavender buds themselves are clearly high quality, whole and intact. This strong lavender scent translates directly into the flavour of the tea aswell, which is a positive.

I brewed it according to the instructions, infusing for around 5-8 minutes (15mins seems excessive). It's one of those satisfying teas that genuinely tastes as it smells. The lavender flavour is distinct yet smooth, with no harshness. What particularly surprised me was the second infusion using the same petals; the lavender aroma became more subtle, and a noticeable natural sweetness emerged, which was a very pleasant discovery. The buds certainly seem potent enough for at least two good infusions.

While £8 for 50g is somewhat on the higher side, the potency of the buds does help to balance the value out. These also seem ideal for blending with other herbs/flowers to create your own tisanes. Overall, a very good quality lavender tea.
