Tea People Darjeeling Muscatel

From my original Amazon review:

The leaves themselves looked perfectly fine when I opened the packet, no complaints on that front. The smell was pleasant enough too, though the muscatel notes weren't particularly strong, which in hindsight was probably a bit of a giveaway.

Honestly, the taste was a bit disappointing for me. I was really looking forward to that distinct muscatel character, but it was very subtle, lacking. There wasn't much sweetness either. I did get a slight hint of grape in the aftertaste, which was okay, but not really the prominent flavour I was expecting. There was little to no bitterness, which is as expected.

Overall, it was just a bit underwhelming. It's ok for the price. Drinkable, but it didn't quite deliver on those key muscatel notes I was hoping for.
