70C with electric frother.
From my original Amazon review:
For £17, this ROKUCHA matcha passes both the visual and taste tests for a proper usucha. Let's be clear: it doesn't have the complexity or depth of a premium £25 matcha, but that isn't its goal. What it delivers is fantastic value and a straightforward entry into ceremonial tea that you can genuinely enjoy daily.
It comes in a sealed foil package inside the tin, ensuring it arrives fresh. The powder itself is a vibrant and fresh-looking spring green, with a fine and uniform texture. It definitely looks the part of a genuine, high-quality ceremonial matcha.
Preparing it as usucha with water around 70C as recommended and an electric frother, it produces a decent layer of froth and the colour holds well after being whisked, which is another good sign of quality.
As for the taste, it's quite straightforward in a way that anyone can enjoy. The texture is very smooth after whisking, with no grits or grainy bits at all. You get a good, clean umami and a natural sweetness with a decent, mellow finish.
I can certainly recommend this as an entry-level usucha.
