My Experience

I picked these up alongside a few other flavours when they were on a Clubcard deal just out of curiosity, and honestly, this is a genuinely healthy, convenient option for lunch or even breakfast.

The nutrition:
The labels are clean and the nutritional stats are surprisingly good. It’s rare to find a grab-and-go meal that actually hits the macros without being full of rubbish.

The taste and smell:
It is mostly a tomato-based profile with a mild Harissa spiciness, nothing too aggressive. However, be aware that it smells pretty strong! You might want to think twice before cracking this open in a small office.

The texture:
This is where it gets interesting. The actual vegetables are a bit mushy, acting more like wet flavour holders than anything else. But the tuna and the firm grains/giant couscous make up for it. They provide a proper chew and firmness that stops the whole thing turning into baby food. The tuna actually proper steak pieces rather than the flaky mush you get in cheaper tins.

I’ll give this a strong 4 stars. If you can get it on the Clubcard price, it is genuinely a great value product for both the taste and the healthiness.
