Right away, these are definitely better than the Herta stuff. They actually have a proper frankfurter skin, with a nice strong snap to it when you bite down. You have to fry or grill them, though; otherwise, that skin becomes extremely unpalatable, chewy, and tough.

At 80% pork, the meat content is at a decent level for a frankfurter and it helps lock in the juice and that nice fatty flavour. I pricked mine 2-3 times before air frying and they came out great. The bite is good and the texture is firm enough while still being smooth and uniform. The taste itself is fairly decent, not too salty, just a nice, fatty frankfurter taste.

As for the nutrition, as expected these are fairly high in salt and fat, but that's a given as frankfurters, eat in moderation type of foods.
